Recently, Qinghai Lüheng Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Geeking Tech, officially broke ground on its 100,000-ton High-Value Resource Recycling Project at the Ganhe Industrial Park in the Xining National Economic and Technological Development Zone. Provincial and municipal leaders of Qinghai and Xining, together with Dai Chao, Chairman of Geeking Tech, attended the ceremony. Upon completion, the project will become the largest base in Qinghai Province for the recycling of electrolytic aluminum overhaul waste, injecting strong momentum into the circular economy development of Northwest China.

Since its founding in 2010, Geeking Tech has focused on hazardous waste treatment, zero-discharge wastewater solutions in the new energy sector, and resource recovery. It has established a full-chain business model of "hazardous waste disposal + resource regeneration + material production," growing into a leading enterprise in the domestic industry.

The strategic expansion into Qinghai represents a deep integration of Shenzhen's innovation-driven technology with Qinghai's resource advantages. Leveraging the R&D strength of its Shenzhen headquarters and the industrial ecosystem of Ganhe Industrial Park, the company has effectively bridged cutting-edge expertise in new energy with real-world applications, successfully transforming hazardous waste from the electrolytic aluminum industry into high value-added products, thereby solving a long-standing challenge in resource recycling.

The Qinghai Lüheng Project tightly integrates hazardous waste treatment with new energy material production, creating a unique industrial advantage. It has been hailed as a "model project for circular economy industrial upgrading in Northwest China."

With a total investment of RMB 350 million, the project covers 80 mu (approximately 13 acres) and has a construction period of 24 months. Once completed, it will process 100,000 tons of industrial solid waste annually, including electrolytic aluminum overhaul slag. Its expected annual output includes 5,000 tons of lithium carbonate, 10,000 tons of cryolite, 60,000 tons of sodium sulfate, and 160,000 tons of building materials, with an estimated annual output value exceeding RMB 500 million. The project will be the largest electrolytic aluminum waste recycling base in Qinghai Province, helping to address global imbalances in lithium resource distribution while unlocking Qinghai's locational and ecological industrial advantages. It also provides replicable practices for overcoming "resource bottlenecks" in the new energy sector.

As its core competitive edge, Geeking Tech continues to drive breakthroughs in technological innovation. Tackling the global challenge of disposing of hazardous waste such as electrolytic aluminum overhaul slag and electrolytes, the Qinghai Lüheng Project uses overhaul slag from electrolytic aluminum plants as raw material. It adopts a self-developed, full-process technology for lithium extraction and valuable component recycling. This new-generation solution surpasses existing technologies, ensuring both high recovery efficiency and environmental protection. By combining hazardous waste disposal fees with product revenues, it creates a dual-profit model that mitigates industry "market volatility" and achieves the closed-loop goal of "quantifying solid waste, recycling resources, and optimizing utilization."

The project also integrates artificial intelligence and digital twin technology, building the nation's first "lights-out factory" in hazardous waste recycling. This intelligent production model enables full-process precision monitoring, efficient energy use, and reduced operating costs. It significantly enhances product quality and safety, serving as a benchmark for the industry's digital and intelligent transformation.

The launch of the Qinghai Lüheng Project marks a significant milestone for Geeking Tech in resource regeneration and recycling. Looking ahead, the company will continue to uphold its development philosophy of innovation, sustainability, and collaboration, driving industrial upgrading and technological progress. It aims to contribute further to achieving China's "dual carbon" goals and to shaping a new model of circular economy.
